A Budding Artist

We were up rather early this morning, maybe because we went to bed earlier. We had breakfast, said morning prayers and read our daily correspondence. I did some needed phone clean up. My sister and BIL stopped by. She is borrowing our extra coffee pot until she gets one from her WV stash later in the month. I caught up on answering my life story questions. Just when I think there won’t be more questions, more arrive in my inbox box. No one will want to read a book this long. Hubby picked up Brooklyn and her friend from our local coffee shop while I got ready for Madi’s art exhibit. The arts council is highlighting teens’ work tonight. It’s been a big week for Madi: she turned 18, is being recognized for her talent and will be celebrated at a party on Sunday. We are honored to be included. We took a quick walk while waiting for the doors to open at Annmarie Sculpture Gardens. We might stop for a fish sandwich on the way home. We have a jam packed grands’ weekend ahead - what’s new. Wishing you an adventurous weekend. Stay safe. Thanks for stopping by. “When a young artist is ready, one has to bring (her) him into the limelight.”- Placido Domingo
