White Caps

We did a bit of housework this morning. We both got SCAM mail from “our local credit union.” Hubby researched how to report it to the proper authorities. We knew it was fake but my mother uses that bank and may have fallen for it. She has had actual bank withdrawals from scammers in the past. Hopefully hubby’s notification can help others. The wind was brisk; a good day to be inside. But we had meds to pick up. Afterwards, we drove around the perimeter of the base blip hunting. I think the shot I chose presents a good idea about the weather - cold and blustery. I stepped in a camouflaged puddle and soaked my socks, shoes and pants legs. Ugh. We came home, I put on dry clothes, we ate homemade soup and a sandwich and it was time to pick up Brooklyn. I divided up the cake we made earlier this week and shared some with each family. Skylar is stopping by to get our kitty tree. Will be happy to be rid of it. We are in for the evening. The wind should die down by midnight. Wishing you a calm evening. Stay safe. Thanks for your visit, hearts and stars lately. Glad you have enjoyed the animals I’ve seen. “All the lessons are in nature. You look at the way rocks are formed - the wind and the water hitting them, shaping them, making them what they are. Things take time, you know?" - Diane Lane
