Early Prunus

Some of the earliest Spring blossom I see is on the Prunus tree over the front fence. It hasn't been as abundant as this in the last two years. Bumble bees had started flying round the flowers.

A productive day at the market in town buying fish, meat, eggs, cheese and greengrocery, finishing off at The Flower Lady with a latte. I also bought some tulips. The fishmonger was displaying two John Dory, They seem to me such ugly fish and there isn't much left of them once they've been gutted.

I wanted Basil to have a reasonable run in the lovely weather so we drove on to The Outwoods where I ordered bacon and eggs. The eggs couldn't have been fresher.
