Frustrating Day
The day began bright but by early afternoon, cloud was gathering. I persuaded Len that a trip to Calke Abbey would be diverting particularly if we could use the mobility scooters. Of course, with such wonderful weather, the scooters had been booked out.
We opted for the garden buggy after outside refreshment at the tea room. I wasn't particularly impressed with the GF offerings. Old, stale and unimaginative. We had to wait while people were ferried too and fro. When we finally got to the buggy stop, my mini scooter wouldn't start. The battery was low. And Len was in a mood.
At least Basil got a little run.
The hospital rang. They're recommending a treatment for my osteoporosis which will require me to self administer an injection daily for two years.
