Spot the lizard

Points for who can. Babe loves stalking the geckos on her midday/evening walks as they bask in the warm sunlight. She soon chases them into the bushes though.

Another long and arduous day in the lab (what's new - I bet looking back on my blips to date 90% of them will contain a similar statement!). Student is coming along nicely. Although yet to successfully run a PCR she is a quick learner. I have a hunch what the problem is we shall find out tomorrow.

Had soccer at 5:50pm but only found out today that it was the early game and was snowed under at work so couldn't get home in time and walk the dog/fight the rush hour traffic to get there. Our manager is out for the season with a sprained ankle and at least one other player couldn't make it (plus we probably didn't have a keeper) which meant they only had 6 and no subs. All that and just been promoted to higher division. I'm predicting a loss - might be difficult to stay in this league and I'm guessing it won't be as fun as reigning undefeated like last season.
