Owl Time

In Liverpool it is mythical (Liver) birds. In Manchester it is bees. And in Leeds it is owls. There are at least seven I’ve counted on and around this, the Civic Hall. They are in other places too.

I was walking from the Premier Inn to the railway station to catch the 10.43am to Chester, so had plenty of time to take a few extra pics.

An alternative choice for today’s theme of strong colour is the hoarding around Leeds Town Hall (extra). Work is due to be completed by next year. It’s a great building, and very different to the equally great Manchester Town Hall with which I’m more familiar - classical design (all those Corinthian columns) to Manchester’s gothic.
