Collapsed!
So I wore the toggle-less duffle coat over to the sewing shop, which was quite a struggle, with my spare jacket in a bag, as well as Archie wandering from side to side, and my walking stick, and quite a strong breeze. £20 for sewing on the toggles. Probably quite reasonable.
Strolled along a few doors to the cafe, but we didn't stay long - my pet hate (apart from my other pet hate - the muzak) is people with VERY LOUD VOICES, completely unaware of the other people around them, all talking quietly at the other tables in quite a small room. My steely glares went un-noticed, so we didn't hang around once I'd had my coffee (NO pastry).
Just as well I took photos of these tulips this morning, as this evening many of them have collapsed and dropped leaves.
We've been in touch with our pals in Queensland (Brisbane, Tweed Heads and Lismore) - they have Category 2 Cyclone Alfred bearing down on them. This will cause widespread damage and danger to life. Hope they, and their homes, are safe.
And again - I will never complain about the weather in Scotland.
