Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Twelve years and one day blip!

First of all, many thanks to all who popped in with kind words and good wishes on my 12 year blipday.

We all took a walk round to Morningside today, JR was on a mission to get her leather bag fixed (hard to find people to do such things these days), but Archie and I turned right and came back into Bruntsfield. Archie draggged me past Montpelier's, but forgot about the Chocolate Tree... we didn't stay long, as rap music came on (amongst other more bearable genres) but actually, the bench was very uncomfortable, though we liked the tables.

The big Costa on the corner in Bruntsfield has disappeared. Also the large one in Multrees Walk is no more, what is happening? They were both always busy.

In the afternoon, Archie and I watched 'Scotland from the Sky' - it's a very interesting series, with aerial photos showing remains of Roman and Viking settlements. JR went into town.

‘These are ‘non slip down’ socks. But they did slip down’…
'You've worn them, you can't return them...'
'But I had to wear them to find out that they slip down...'

Make sure you write a review, J...

Another Big Day for Archie tomorrow. Let's hope it goes a bit better than last week...
