Gifted food

People have been giving me food and I have been happily eating it. Food is love. Everything I ate today was given to me. 

A judge ordered the overlords to pay USAID’s bills. The overlords didn’t. The judge ordered them again. The overlords didn’t. It is in the Supreme Court which stayed (paused) the order to pay the bills by the date set by the judge. They didn’t decide Friday. They didn’t decide today. 

None of us understand the holdup. If nothing else it is a simple matter of contract law. The contractors were hired to do work. They expended money. The work was accepted. The bills were submitted and accepted. Of course, Trump never thought he had to pay bills so now he is damaging the credit rating of the United States. He is also bankrupting those businesses and many think that this is the point. Fire all the employees. Give away the space. Bankrupt the contractors. Then, even if Congress were to step up and point out that Trump cannot legally remove an agency without their approval, it would be years to recover.

There are many more protests happening throughout the country, again, something I am not seeing reflected in the news.
In Ohio, hundreds gathered for a “Stand with Ukraine” rally. It was standing room only. State Rep. Sean Brennan said: “Supporting Ukraine is not charity; it’s an investment in a safer world.”
NY Dem Rep. Tom Suozzi received a standing ovation for slamming Trump’s meeting with Zelensky.

Saturday Night Live had a skit criticizing Trump and Vance’s ambush of Zelensky. I actually have not watched it because I don’t think I would find it funny.

Trump has now cut off military aid to Ukraine. This is not unexpected. Biden was deliberately pushing as much military aid out the door as possible before leaving office. When Trump was elected we knew Ukraine’s future was up to Europe. Some people were in denial I guess.
