Wood Spurge

Euphorbia amygdaloides

I love the acid green of euphorbia but it needs to be managed carefully because it's a vigorous spreader. And you can't just haul it up because the sap can sting and irritate the skin. I'm a bit cavalier with pulling it up but it's often to my cost. 

Our grandson was here yesterday while his mum and dad had time to themselves. He stayed overnight which was a success. Both yesterday and again today we were outside playing in the garden though today seems a good bit cooler to me. There's no sun to take the edge off the air. 

I'm settling in for a  quiet afternoon.
