When in Rome

I am not in Rome. Not even close. Bonn, in fact.

But the German tradition of afternoon coffee and cake seemed like a great plan today. You could be excused for thinking my cheesecake could not taste as good as it looks. But it did.

One Extra is the university’s botanic garden which I visited to inspect their sequoias (impressive) and Schloss Poppelsdorf - also impressive.

The other Extra is the queue for Bratwurst (etc) this evening at halftime at Viktoria Köln’s stadium. No pies available.
