The Gilas with some
colour makes a great start to
my Wednesday morning

I was on my way to the grocery store just after 6. My neighbourhood was dark and quiet. 

I caught this colour, first from the parking lot, then from a side road before arriving home. It never ceases to surprise and delight me. 

Back home, my daughter has been ill all week and is just getting out for her groceries today. I am so relieved. She and I will be on the road together heading for home in a month's time. 

Also back at home, there's a growing online petition to revoke Elon Musk's Canadian passport. Apparently, he holds dual citizenship because his mother is Canadian. Canadians do not feel he is worthy to carry our passport as we witness his irresponsible behaviour in the USA. I have happily added my name to the petition and circulated the information on my Facebook page. 

Blip done, I can stay home today. May do a little sewing or might just cruise all day.
