Day out

I had a great night's sleep and luckily woke early as the security guard started banging on my door at 6 am to find out why I was in an empty room.

After breakfast and a conversation about changing rooms it was off with Wayan. I didn't go to Git Git Waterfall. The guide wanted Ru700000, reduced to 500.000 as I was on my own, plus a tip. That's £35- £24 to see a couple of waterfalls. TripAdvisor said Ru100000.00.   I didn't go in the hot springs at Banjar though had lunch there but did visit a garden and Hindu and Buddhist Temples. The Buddhist one was lovely, very peaceful and pretty empty so no competition to get an empty Gate of Heaven picture. The extra is the Hindu temple beside the lake. 

Other things that happened today, annoying PRC tourists who need to take 100s photos when one or two will do, failing to withdraw cash (card issue), meeting the Dutch couple again in the Warung up the road. Getting soaked in a tropical downpour. Not swimming.
