Chaos in the skies

Day 5

I find that this song works well with the image.

We arrived in Holland very early after some very unnecessary wake-up calls on the loud speaker which started 90 minutes before we could disembark.

Caught the train straight up to Den Helder where we caught another ferry onto the island Texel where we were greeted with large open fields, lots of sheep and fair cycling weather.

We got a little excited 10 minutes in and managed to smash my filter. Luckily it protected the lens and from then on, my camera came absolutely first. We consoled ourselves by cycling to a brewery, which heightened out spirits a little too much as we signed up for a tour. In Dutch. Luckily the guy was happy to translate a little so it wasn't all lost on us and afterwards we got 5 mini pints of the good stuff.

Afterwards we cycled to the main town - DenBurg - to stock up on food, before cycling in search of our campsite. After much deliberation and retracing our steps we eventually found it, pitched up, fed our bellies and settled down for the night.
