Lake District: Castlerigg Stone Circle

When the rain comes in the Lakes it tends to linger and today was a very wet one until late in the day. We had a walk from Castlerigg where the stone circle stands as it has done for thousands of years with Skiddaw as a background. There is much debate as to what the circle's purpose was.
