Snail

It has been a fairly wet day here and this evening, out with the dog in the field, there were hundreds of snails of various colours and sizes, I don't like them in my garden when they are munching on my plants but out in the field they are quite fascinating!

This snail was was much bigger that most of the others and it's shell looks somehow old and gnarled.
