Not too impressed...!

Bryn was not very enamoured with the headline on the Sun's back page, which is referring to Kylian Mbappe's hat trick for Real Madrid, which knocked his beloved Man City out of the Champions League last night... I'm just hoping they don't decide to take Sunday (v Liverpool) as their chance to bounce back...
Drove to Marston Green to pick Phil up in the van, set up the show at Stoneleigh near Kenilworth (Race Retro), drove Phil back to Marston Green, went down pub (and shop) with Bryn for a couple of hours, he seemed in good form... he had a lager-top and a Coke, I had Alcohol-free Rekorderling cider (a bit sweet) and 0% Guinness. Then B&Q for some battery-powered lights as the gazebo is a bit dark inside... Then to the air bnb in Coventry (very nice indeed), where I met up with Kie (Jon, the other rep doing the show, stays with his Mum in Rugby...)...
Cooked Mindful Chef Venison steak, which Kie appreciated, now he's gone to play X-Box and I've been watching Reacher on Kie's recommendation... enjoyed first episode for sure. Need to earn some money tomorrow, so planned on early bed - but STOP PRESS Kie came down again, I cooked a prawn & rice Mindful Chef meal which I'll have cold for lunch tomorrow (going to run out of chances to cook all the meals with the gallivanting and socialising I'm doing!! - out with Francis and Cheryl in Stratford Saturday night...). Cheaper, tastier, and healthier than whatever the alternative might be on the show...
