Old and new...

Went for a walk today and managed over 3km, going through the village from the park entrance then back through the park behind our village.
It was a bit easier than last week. As the schools are off there were a few more people around. You could count them on the fingers of one hand.

Arriving at the park entrance in Mega Breadvan before my walk, a car parked behind me. As I got out of MB to go and change into my walking boots at the back, a couple got out of the car behind with a big black dog. Which then bounded over to me barking. The owners were a bit horrified and said sorry. I replied... "Perhaps he doesn't like British people, I'm British..." Not sure how they took it...

In the pic, I had reached the road in front of the village church, rue de la Salle (Room Road I guess in English). On the pavement is a very old original Renault Espace. In the distance is my next door neighbour in his Fiat van. Except I didn't recognise the van, then as he passed I saw him wave, before I could recognise him and wave back. Admittedly we don't see each other very often. He was operated on last year for cancer, so it is good to see he is getting out and about.
