Vinted

A contact of mine online, a half Italian/Scottish bloke based in Italy, has turned me onto using Vinted to sell on a few surplus diecasts and models. We both share an interest in road transport and models (although aside from the Routemaster I haven't built a model in 30 odd years).
So over the weekend I listed over 30 of my models on the site, then  to my surprise I sold 12 of them.
Yesterday was spent packing them to be sent, it took quite a while.

Vinted works using relais (or relay/pick up points) rather than posting things in the conventional way. As we live in a semi rural location, these points are not all in one place and Vinted provides several services to transport parcels through, such as e-chronopost, colissimo, modiale relais, UPS etc.

So once everything was packed I had to decide where I needed to take them to, so they could be sent off. I've found two places, one of those being the local boulangerie. The other is in the next village. There are others scattered in the next town too. I don't want to be running around, so I'll just stick with those two.

The next things for sale will be surplus DVD's & BD's.
