Teacakes?

I remember Teacakes being something different, so perhaps it is a regional thing?

Tonight me and Mme MB went off to Lidl as I wasn't feeling 100% this morning. So we had the pleasure of spending Valentines Day evening doing the weeks shopping.

In fact it was a bit of a motivational thing, as I've realised that I really prefer going first thing in the morning...
Too many people tonight and some of them pushing past a bit rudely. One woman stepped back and trod squarely on my foot as I was taking something out of the fridge. A standard "Pardon!"... from her. When French people do that, they take on a tone as if it is your fault and not theirs! Or maybe that is just a Paris region thing.
I replied "Ben merci beaucoup !" (in a sarky voice). Totally lost on them.
