Celebration Meal

Hundreds of photos - so hard to choose...

On the last night of Camp, we have a celebration meal - here is the melon starter in the girls' marquee; followed by barbecued chicken, roast potatoes, green beans and baby carrots; gateau with ice-cream, then After Eights. After the food, the awards are given out - very moving to see the girls' hard work not just throughout the week, but the whole year, being acknowledged.

Now I could relax - all the meals delivered successfully and the kitchen team still talking to each other... Camp was very special this year - young people's lives changed - so worth the hard work.

During the meal, through the opening of the marquee, we saw a double rainbow. Then, after dark, a sudden violent thunderstorm - quite scary, especially when all the lights went out.
