Mr Blackbird

There is a blackbird couple resident somewhere near our gate, but very wary of humans, and I don't want to encourage them too much... our cats. But they are often hopping around and I love seeing them - today in the rain, through the glass window; it's been dull and rainy all day, and I've again been mostly indoors, painting, cooking, Zoom meetings.

Thanks so much for all your comments on Blip and Lent - it's not just Lent. I feel like a lot of my commenting has become too cursory, and it does take a lot of time. And I have quite a full diary coming up. Whatever I do, though, will put comments on when the Baby arrives, I really want to share that properly. I had comments off (for Lent) when my Mum died, and I regretted not having your support then.

Gratefuls:
- a little more rain, Lake still not full, but getting there
- progress on the painting and sorting, but a while to go, as you can see here (plus the sideboard some of you asked for)
- family chats, straddling the Atlantic and the Channel
