Aduro on Alert

On the wall of our Land this morning, white asphodels beyond.

The cat saga continues. Two males yowling round the place tonight, not sure what's going on, as both our cats are neutered and inside.

Most of the day systematically taking all my books off the shelves, dusting them, and trying to put as many as I can bear into the box to be donated to the library. Mike has been sanding and undercoating, for me to then paint with that buttery yellow chalk paint. 

I am mulling over what to do about Blip during Lent, which is fast coming up, especially after watching this video to "Are You Lost in the World Like Me?" Thought provoking stuff. Blip is my only social media, and it connects me with real people, many of whom I know in real life. But still... Maybe just turn off comments? Any comments??

Gratefuls:
- getting all the books off the shelves, at least
- lunch outside in the sunshine
- seeing our new Swiss friends flying past in their little yellow aeroplane, and them seeing us waving

And, another birthday - many happy returns to my b-i-l, Dave, who I've known and loved for several years more than my husband!
