Gary

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I'm going into the office on Tuesday, Wednesday AND Friday this week because of Briar-leaving events. 

"SOMEONE is a bit spesh," I told her. 

Today it was her Morning Tea, replete with speeches from herself and her beloved ex-manager, Megan. Briar handled it well! Her speech was funny and as such, I cannot remember a single word. 

She also outshone herself in the crochet department. Megan got a hippo, Olly got an octopus and I got Gary. An elephant. 

Why Gary, you may ask. Well, it's another Briar thing. She has a thing for the name Gary. I'm unsure why. But whenever you ask her the name of anything, she will gleefully shout, "GARY!" 

So Gary the Elephant it is. He got quite a lot of attention. People I didn't know were asking me about him all day. Even when I took him on the train. 

Caro also loves Gary. He now sits behind her on the couch and Crash even played with him. 

As for me and Olly, we had a lovely day. We went for lunch with Briar and chatted happily. We all agreed that FOBs would remain A Thing and we would stay in touch. 

As for this week, tomorrow is Briaroke night and then I'll come in Friday morning to say goodbye.
