Briaroke
My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,
Briar LOVES karaoke. She has always wanted to do it, but for reasons it has never happened when we've gone as a team.
So it seemed only right that I should arrange "Briaroke" for her last full day in the office.
Here you see Jess (visiting from Auckland) as Briar and Luke give us their rendition of "What Does The Fox Say?"
(Which was hilarious, I might add).
We also had fun singing along to "Gold" by Spandau Ballet. I introduced Briar to this song, and she loves it because it includes air bongos. Which we all had to do.
We also duetted on "Danger! High Voltage!" together. I sang "Don't You Want Me?" with Fazzy. And Briar got to indulge her love of musicals by doing amazing versions of "Alexander Hamilton" and "Popular".
She was really VERY good.
Luke also made mischief by choosing "Gay Bar" and handing me the microphone. But he may have come to regret that choice...
I'VE GOT SOMETHING TO PUT IN YOU
I'VE GOT SOMETHING TO PUT IN YOU!!
I sang with glee. He won't do that again in a hurry.
The rest of the day was fun too. In the extras you can see "Little Gary" - an elephant key-ring that Fazzy got me in Thailand. You can also see Fazzy receiving her unicorn from Briar, and getting a Brug as part of the deal.
I love our little group of friends.
S.
