The Feast Day of Saint Fra Angelico. Angelico is Italian for angelic. His status was that of Dominican friar, artist.
He painted many Annunciations.
He painted religious Art in Fiesole, Tuscany, Florence and Rome. He also painted in Orvieto. He achieved great piety and his religious paintings were gifted work with remarkable spiritual transcendence.
Born 1395 in Tuscany, Italy. Died 1455, Rome, Italy. Canonised 1982.
Patron Saint of Catholic Artists.

I stayed mostly indoors due to the low temperature, 2c feels like minus two. There was sunshine and blue sky too.
I did some housework, watched Holy Mass online, fed the cats, did some reading, crochet. A pleasant, quiet day.
