Torrey Pines State Park

SUP'd (stand up paddle boarded) la jolla shores this morning. Was great fun. Although overcast with the marine later to start it soon brightened up. Didn't take too long and not too many falls into the sea before we all got the hang of it and pretty much did the kayak tour on the boards. Saw a lot of marine life - seals, sea lions, stingrays, sharks (non lethal) and the California state fish the gerabaldi. 2 hours of great fun.

Afterwards we went to Brockton villas in la jolla for brunch. Gave our guests the great treat of coast toast (souffléd brioche French toast). Lovely stuff!

Then back home briefly before a nice late afternoon walk through Torrey pines state park where this blip was taken looking south towards la jolla.

A great weekend with good friends. Sad to see them go tomorrow as they head up to San Fran and we head back to work :-(
