An ordinary life....

Home decor...

Is one's fireplace ever complete without a windmill?  Would seem Alan thinks not as this was the scene in his fireplace this morning!  LOL

I had a lovely and very informative video chat with my pal Jude in Perth Australia this morning.  I thought we'd chat for about half an hour but nope, we managed to natter on for almost two hours!!!

Jude is a retired Intensive care / Coronary Care nurse and had a hysterectomy a few years ago.  She is a legendary story teller and had me in stitches (no pun intended :-)) at her experiences.  She also gave me some wonderful advice and insights into the whole experience and I feel as ready as I'll ever be.

D had his last round of golf for a couple of weeks with Keith (Jude's brother :-) at Leven.  He played really well so I am glad he has that happy experience to tide him over till I'm recovered enough for him to play again.

I crocheted a bit more of Orla's wild animal bunting.  It's taking ages, mainly because it's so bitty and not much joy to crochet.  I had hoped it would be finished before Tuesday but I fear it won't be!

Chicken fajitas for dinner and updating my to-do list.  Lots of jobs half done.  Need to get my finger out!
