A little gift...
Operation Organisation continued today d'ya see what I did there? LOL!
Moved some more stuff around upstairs to make it easier for me to reach post-op, including the contents of my dressing table.
When tidying one of the drawers I found this little porcelain brooch in its box, right at the back of the drawer. It originally belonged to my gran then my mum and now me. I have no idea why it was in there as all my mum and gran's brooches that I inherited are in a box in the front bedroom (there are quite a few as they both loved brooches and I store them together) If I am being fanciful I could convince myself it's a sign they are both looking after me and wanted to send me a sign :-)
D and I had a lovely FaceTime chat with Keith & Mairi this afternoon. I am kind of self isolating this week (not going out and not having visitors) as I don't want to risk catching any bugs before next week. It was lovely to chat to them as not seen them since Christmas Eve (D sees Keith at golf :-). They've been abroad for a chunk of January and poor Mairi caught a horrible cold that she's still trying to get rid of.
Tomorrow morning I am having a FaceTime chat with Keith's sister Jude who's in Perth Australia. She had a hysterectomy a few years ago and is similar build to me fluffy ;-) so will be good to hear her experience. She's also a nurse so will pick her brains in more depth. I am sure we will chat about some cheerier stuff too :-)
