Muddy

For a change I decided to go over to a different park to my usual one, which is just on the very limit of the nearest town to us, Mennecy (which is twinned with Countesthorpe in my native Leicestershire).
To get to it, I left Mega Breadvan parked on the edge of our village. Then walked down to a lane which leads to my BIL's gate (his house is on a large parcel of land next to the park).
Walking past the gate, a small patch of land he owns is next to a low wall with the park on the other side. Someone has put a pile of rocks and stones on the deeper side of the wall, so it is a bit like a stile. I just sat on the wall and swung myself round.
So in total 3km with the walk to the park and then around a tiny part of it - it is a very big park. But it was so muddy - it was a challenge to get around and I had to be careful not to slip and end up on my bum!
My walking boots are very good ones, so I had plenty of grip.
I'll have to go back, but perhaps in the Spring when things are a bit dryer.
