The Handover

I’d had the wee one in the morning - a trip to Tumbles singing along with the Singing Kettle, there and back. And after lunch, I handed my little charge over, to be taken off to view Moana 2. I was given the offer as well, I should make clear. Anyway, later, when she came back she sat and played on the rug with her familiars; apparently they were at her cafe. Delightful to see.
And later, up the road. After another bliddy marina meeting. The new chair needs a rocket. Anyway, AJ brought along his chess set again and ensnared old Turno. This must stop. In the background, the final Liverpool derby at Goodison Park was played out, Everton equalising with the last kick of the ball. After that, all hell broke loose as rags were well lost. That epitome of calm, Arnie Slot, managed to get red carded too. Haw haw. All the commentators are united: it's not the sort of thing we want to see. The spectators are equally united: superb.
