Book blip

The book I've had ages, in fact years, but never got around to reading it till now. Started it at lunchtime. 
Not been out, as it was cold, grey and miserable with a biting wind that felt icy. Temp gauge said it was 3.5C in our back garden but when I nipped out there it felt much colder.
I've planned a couple of geocaching trips so the day wasn't wasted.
My GP rang me this evening about the cardiology letter she received and is going to prescribe the new medication. she won't increase my diltiazem yet as we agreed it was probably better to just do one thing at a time.
We made chicken and veg soup for tea. Delicious but I had a coughing fit due to a stray lentil. Terry did some back-slapping. I'm not sure I will view lentils as favourably now!
Booked to have my hair cut and blow-dried tomorrow morning. 
My son John rang to say he is coming up and bringing Amrit (his little boy) to see me on Monday but on a bit of a flying visit so not staying long. It will be lovely to see them.
