Friday fun & frolics

Walked to the hairdresser's for a cut and blow-dry (1.4 miles, the route I prefer to take) and it was a bitter cold wind. My eyes streamed with the cold all the way there!
Everyone was talking about how cold it feels.
Terry picked me up and we went doing the weekly shop.
I noticed there was another broken window at Tesco. Wonder what's going on ie is it vandalism or burglary? I haven't seen anything about the last 2 windows that were smashed or the one today. I looked at facebook and The Star (local paper) websites. Mystery!
Terry spotted a greenfinch on our bird feeders this morning - I wish I'd seen it. There have been few birds recently but the usual suspects still turn up ie blue tits, great tits, robin, goldfinches. Plus we see blackbirds and the occasional sparrow on the ground.
We got the washing dried outside today which is good as it's forecast rain tomorrow.
Someone mentioned Valentine's Day but we don't do anything for that. I have a rhyme....Roses are red, violets are blue, Valentine's Day is a load of poo! Sorry to all the romantics ha ha.
