Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed

Say 'Hello' to Ziggy (fka Gizmo). He arrived at our house around 18:30 after a long drive from RAF Cranwell.
Julia's boss's grandfather passed away and they were looking for a good home for Gizmo, a 9 year old Pomeranian, we are pretty sure that is what he is.
He is an absolute delight, very friendly, allows himself to be petted and picked up. He will also 'Sit' and 'Down' and comes when called, even with his new name of Ziggy.
Why Ziggy? My Father in Law (F.M.i.L's husband) was Peter Zegveld, known to everyone as Ziggy. He passed away on St Valentines Day, 2004. As St Valentines day is almost with us it seemed appropriate.
He's been very well looked after and the grandfather's family are going to contact their vet in the morning to have the chip details updated so no-one thinks he's been stolen.
I think we are going to really enjoy (big understatement) having Ziggy with us. He really is a joy to have around. And the girls love him already, of course  :-)
