Another dull, damp day.  Had to go to the Building Society.  Ludicrous that they cannot amend and annotate the passbook anymore.  I asked the cashier to write the updated balance in pen, which she kindly did.  Now they have to print out on an A4 sheet instead.  Hardly saving paper.
Quick market shop and ran an errand for a friend with an upset stomach requiring Immodium. 

Chilly walk with the hound after lunch.

Started watching Miss Austen last night but I wasn't in the mood for it really.  Watched episode 1 of Amandaland which was entertaining.

Spotted this house on the way to my poorly friend's house.  It certainly stands out from the rest of the houses.  I wonder if the date and decoration has a commemorative purpose.  Hoping some local on social media might know.
