Shelter

A dry morning but drizzle resumed late afternoon. 

Yesterday a friend of mine received news that her breathing difficulties were probably the result of her allergy to dog fur.  She owns a Yorkshire terrier.  A difficult, sad decision has to be made. 

Feel for her but glad that's not a decision I have to make.  It would be devastating.

Been busy in the kitchen all morning and two dog walks.  Was woken from a delicious slumber by fireworks last night.  That delicious slumber was difficult to resume.  Early night tonight.

Correction to yesterday's journal, the book is called Anatomy of a Scandal.  Watching Netflix's series of the book.
