Sunset

Mid afternoon we got the call we had been waiting for.  Kat was being given a lift back from Chester and they were going to Pooley Bridge for a swim could we pick her up in the car park there.  So we duly arrived and collected her. (incidentally Ullswater was reported yesterday as being an almost tropical 5 degrees).

As we were near the Lodge we popped in to let her see how the kitchen was coming on.  Next we headed for home, the long way!  Clickychick looked at the sun and suggested as we hadn't yet got a blip we go to the old road beside the A66.  By the time we got there the sky was colouring nicely, but we were looking directly into the sun.
