Aira Cascades
Clickychick wanted to see the kitchen at the Lodge in daylight so we nipped out there. It is still looking beautiful, but it is incredible the difference between artificial light and daylight in colour change or should I say shade change. It looks much lighter in daylight.
From there we headed down the valley aiming to visit the Aira Cascades. The National Trust refer to them as the High Cascades but as they are the only cascades we just call them the cascades.
The blip is a "silky" water shot taken of the tiny cascade at the top looking from the foot bridge. I much preferred the area before the NT put in the path and footbridge, you had more chance of getting shots without people in them
