Family time

Broken night’s sleep with the dog last night. He never settles the first night away, and the cottage is much warmer than he is used to.

Tonight was the birthday celebration night. It was my brother in law’s 60th on Thursday. He drove back down to pick Charlotte up this afternoon after netball and dress rehearsal so she could join the party.

While he was away we decorated the table, and I put some photos out on these light strings from over the years. I’d also compiled a playlist of the records which were number one every 6th February since he was born.

We’ve had a lovely night.
