Sea breeze

We ventured out to Sandsend after breakfast, found a cafe for the less mobile to sit in, and had a windswept walk along the beach.

Back to the cottage for roast lamb and all the trimmings, the day unfortunately spoiled slightly by the Liverpool result.

Dropped Charlotte at the railway station in Scarborough to go home, I’m going to have to get used to this soon. Then back for more food and a relaxed evening in front of the tv.

Three positives:
1) plenty of walking
2) a beautiful roast cooked by my sister in law
3) Charlotte got home safely
