Paphiopedilum maudiae

Another record shotfor my own purposes.  This is the first year this Orchid has had two flowers.  This is a shot of the second bud just starting to open.

Kat was heading south mid afternoon so in the morning we visited the Upfront Gallery.  She always asks to visit there to "see the art".  The real reason that isn't terribly well hidden is that she knows they have a good selection of cakes that are dairy free and so unusually she has a choice of cakes with her coffee.  After lunch we got her to the train on time, whether the train got to ist destination on time is another matter.

In the evening we popped out to the Lodge to see progress.  What a surprise!  With the exception of a few electrical jobs and the "kicking boards" things are finished, all the tools gone.
