Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle'
I am quite familiar with skeleton leaves but I have never seen or heard of a "skeleton" flower.
An abbreviated visit to Kanyl before I went to the station to pick up Kat and he headed for our house for time with kat and a meal. As Always I wandered his garden discussing a couple of jobs I am going to help him with and looking for blips. As I was going into the house for the last time I was passing the dead heads left on his Hydrangea, I noticed that parts of them had developed into "skeletons". Who would have thought petals had sufficient veins and those of hard enough material to survive after the softer parts had gone.
As the colour was drab it seemed to show better in mono.
