"The Mystery Guest"

What a gripping story! This book is a whodunit about a murder in hotel. It's the second book in the series about a maid, called Molly, works in a hotel, the Regency Grand Hotel. Both books are about murders that happen in the hotel and follows Molly during the investigations.

Today has been beautifully boring. Well, as dull as it gets when you have a three year old. We had the school run this morning, I'd planned to take the bike but it was too windy, so we walked. Little Man had a lot of fun, as normal. The sofa covers needed washing (white and toddlers don't mix well). Thankfully, the whole lot is machine washable and I got a bag of spare covers when I got given the sofa. So I sorted this out whilst Little Man was away. After all the drama of the last few days, it's been nice to do very little beyond reading and looking after Little Man.

Just before midday, I went and collected Little Man, again by foot; we then came straight home. The wind has been gusting all day and once we got home, the furthest I went was to the garage to collect more wood for the fire. If the weather forecast is correct, the wind should burn itself out overnight. I have my fingers crossed, the wind has been making a lot of noise blowing through the plants and trees surrounding our home and the draft has been worse than normal.
