More Sun. More Crocuses
This was shot fairly late in the afternoon. The sun had come around from behind the eucalyptus and was catching the end of the greenhouse, a sure sign that the year is growing up. Crocus tommmasinianus forms raised from seed quite a few years ago. This is an easy species to grow, often seen massed in gardens where it can spread by seed all on it's own.
After morning chores - washing out on the line for the first time this year included - I took Meg for a walk before joining the community session at pottery part way through. 3 hours of glazing saw four pieces completed and it was good to chat with folk while I was there. After a late lunch and a little admin, I sorted out a couple of trays of crocuses for a display I am taking to the AGS meeting in Bangor tomorrow night. 'Proper' choir tonight was fun as always, even if I am not wired for singing and actions done at the same time as a warm-up! I've some pottery bits and pieces to keep me amused now before an early night.
