uncovering

I’ve been busy in the garden today - it gets to a time of the year when I’d rather be outside than in. I did the daily barrowloads of wood and then found lots of tasks to keep me occupied- cutting back brambles, pruning hydrangeas and apple trees…I had to stop when the sun was getting low in the sky, to go on a quick walk before making the tea. Not much knitting is getting done in this good weather, but I am by the fire now with my feet upand that’s what I am going to do next.

I didn’t drink the contents of these bottles, in case you’re wondering. They were unearthed in the woods - from an era well before glass recycling was even a thing.
