Murder night

Went to one of those murder game parties in Winchester this evening.  A good party to break Dry January with as there were very delicious home made cocktails served in tea pots and tea cups (it was all set in a Chicago prohibition bar).  Everyone made a big effort and dressed up. I wore the head dress that I bought at VV Rouleaux, it wasn’t quite right for the period but was eye catching.  Winchester is obviously the hub of dressing up parties as a lot of people had got their outfits from a hire place and had good twenties headbands.   The game was a bit complicated and although we were given copious notes we could have done with a basic gameplay briefing at the top. Still it was fun, we met lots of new people, and saw old friends.  

Pilates first thing and then a bit of gardening before V made lunch.  The afternoon was sorting out the outfit, putting a bit on Vinted and getting ready.  

The extra is a slightly blurry, well it was the end of the party, picture of me and my old school friend Catherine.  I am wearing her antique Norwegian wool stole trimmed with arctic fox I imagine.
