Big city

Tottenham Court Road in all its shabby glory with my friend Manda. We’d just had early dinner to catch up and toast the end of Dry January.  Although plan for a damper February.  we ate at 64 Goodge St, a lovely new restaurant in Fitzrovia run by the people who run Quality Chop House in Clerkenwell.  Given how popular it was we could only get a 6pm table but it was worth it and I was home before Vikram who was also in London having dinner with old friends. 

The day started with a call from home with Dubai at 8 which meant I caught a later train and was in the office for a busy, lively day by 11.  

It was lovely to end it with Manda though, I’ve missed her and we caught up lots and heard all about their trip to Japan which made me very envious.
