The other side of the bridge

i am so used to walking across Hungerford bridge on the East Side that I forget, on the other side of the railway tracks is the second path.  The London Eye on the Southbank and the Houses of Parliament to the North.  With what we call the Drama bench by Westminster bridge because so many production have a scene ‘close to the corridors of power’ set there. 

I was up having lunch with two former colleagues who are now at a company that’s looking to pick up one of my shows I can’t take with me. Lunch ran on and was gossipy and enjoyable so I missed the chance of seeing a friend.
