A ponder

Delivered a birthday present first thing and then with the wee ones off on their way to school, I had a busy one in front of the screens today.

The insurance industry is in a shocking state at present. There seems to be a shortage of trained, competent underwriters with the only ones accessible to us being foetuses with no concept of the fact that we are acting for actual real-life people and businesses. 

I feel like a relic of the industry at present and with the winds of change once again gently caressing my tortured (not to mention cold) bald head, I am left to ponder if a complete change of vocation might be in order…but have absolutely NO IDEA what that new vocation might be!

On the plus side, the current position does afford me the time to pop out at lunchtime to take in crisp blue days like this one and treat myself to some new trainers in advance of a possibly ill-advised 5-aside football session tomorrow night.
