At the River This Morning…

It’s good to be back home in Blenheim. I went for a walk a little later than my routine time this morning. I’ve spent hours unpacking holiday gear, laundering and other post-holiday tasks. On my way home from Kaiteriteri I stopped at Smith’s Cafe in Riwaka to buy Scarlet Runner Beans…. Several bags of them as they are my favourite vegetable. And some heritage tomatoes. Mr Smith grows the best fresh vegetables ever. Last year’s Runner Bean crop at home was very disappointing. Well….. what did I find here at home…. A great crop of Runner Beans. So I will be feasting on this favourite vegetable of mine everyday for weeks!
